It’s that time again, I suppose. I’m not really sure what my past resolutions have been, nor if I followed through – maybe because I didn’t write them down. Well, this year I’ll have no excuse. Here are my New Year’s resolutions:

This is a statue in the Citygarden of St. Louis. It reminds me of Edgar Allan Poe – for the obvious reason that it is a raven – but also because it’s dark, eerie, and a little sad. Haunting, even… Not unlike the life of the legendary Poe.
Here’s something I am not quite ready to say: 2011 is nearly over. Where the heck did this year go? As I scratch my head to dissect the past 12 months, it suddenly seems… right. Therefore, it’s time for an obligatory reflection post. This year actually contained many “firsts” for me, including my obvious submersion into the “real world.” That being said, below I’ve summarized a handful of the eventsthat have had the most impact on my life in this Year of the Rabbit,2011.
